A late Autumn afternoon reading @nigelslater’s Greenfeast in the deepening twilight with a mug of chai and the cat sleeping on my knee under the rug - utter contentment ☺️ And the thing I’m loving most? His onion cooking times! As you would expect from Mr Slater, no five minutes to brown an onion here, every recipe so far is 20 min or more, which is what I love about autumn/winter cooking in the first place…letting dinner gently burble or sizzle away for ages while you read a book 😁#canberrafood #cookbooks #greenfeast #cbrfood

An almost-spring version of the chicken tagine we often make, with a distinct green tinge thanks to broad beans, artichoke hearts and green olives, plus plenty of fresh coriander! #homemade #recipeisontheblog #canberrafood
