In my kitchen this month is…
…a jar of brandied cumquats waiting to be added to Christmas cakes and puddings in a couple of months,
…blood orange cordial made with the last of my box of Red Belly blood oranges,
…a bowl of limes and grapefruit from my parents sub-tropical garden on the mid-north coast of NSW,
…a box of amazing coloured blood limes (a cross between the native finger lime and a mandarin hybrid) from Pipers Creek Grove at Dondingalong, also on the mid-north coast – I’m still deciding what to do with them,
…a huge jar of honey from friends of my parents,
…and finally, leaving the winter citrus behind, our first case of mangoes of the season! We’re all very excited 🙂
